It is strongly recommended not to lie down on bed immediately after the consumption of foods. It is suggested to go for a walk of around half an hour after having meals, so that the food gets properly digested. There should be a minimum gap of around two hours before going to bed after eating food, so as to maintain proper health of the digestive system.
