It is time you broke your detox myth and tried understanding the imperfect world we live in and the toxins that go in our body.Industrial pollution, passive and active smoking, alcohol, food additives, vehicle exhausts, pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, diet of poor quality; all contribute to the building of toxins within the body.They affect the proper functioning of the body and surface in the form of acne, excessively oily skin, or sometimes in the form of more serious diseases. You need a plan which would help clean your body from the inside giving you better health and better skin.

As a first step, choose a day when you can be at home and relax. There should not be any kind of pressure; work or otherwise. Take rest and relax yourself as much as you can. You can do meditation.It would help detoxify your mind. Get up early in the morning and take walk in the close by park. Breathe in the fresh air and the blooming flowers. Do some breathing exercises to allow oxygen to reach all parts of your body and skin.

And Mow The Diet:

After Rising

Boil two sticks of cinnamon with some fennel and a few cardamoms for twenty minutes. Let it cool. Add the juice of freshly squeezed lemon to it and drink it.

Breakfast

Have only fruits for breakfast. Choose any you may like.

Mid morning

Have a glass of fresh vegetable juice without adding anything to it. Also take a teaspoon each of flax seeds and sunflower seeds along with a few figs.

Prepare khichri along the guidelines of ayurveda. You can easily download the recipe from any website devoted to ayurveda. Also have plenty of freshly cut salad along with it.

Have a glass of fresh fruit juice without adding anything to it. Also take a teaspoon of pumpkin seeds.

For dinner, prepare soup using vegetables you like. You can have fresh yogurt an hour after it.

Before Going To Bed

Prepare aherbal tea with fresh basil, marigold leaves and cardamom. Have it before going to bed.The most important thing to keep in mind is to keep the level of fluid intake high and not to take any food item which is hard to digest. So stay away from cheese, bread or fried, processed food. Eat only freshly prepared food and drink lots of filtered water throughout the day.
