Hair Loss

Hairs are the crowning glory of ones personality. Most of the people in the world want to have beautiful, shining and plenty of hairs on their head. Women make lots of efforts to make their hairs strong, healthy and glowing. Hair loss is a very big problem all over the world. Hairs follow a cycle of growing, falling and then growing. About ninety percent of hairs are in growing phase at one time and this lasts for about 2 to 6 years. 10 percent of hairs are at the resting stage and after about 3 months, these hairs fall. In the place of these fallen hairs, new hair growth takes place. But when more hairs fall than the normal, then it is called as the hair loss.

Types for Hair Loss:

Hair loss may be of different types according to the reason of the hair fall.

In rare cases, alopecia Areata can turn into alopecia totalis (compete baldness) or alopecia universalis (hair loss from complete body.

Traumatic Alopecia: This type of hair loss occurs due to abuse of hairs with tight hairstyles, chemical treatments and excessive heat treatment. These kinds of treatments damage hairs to the extent that hair follicles stop producing new hairs.

Treating Hair Loss:

Generally hair fall can not be treated if it is a hereditary condition. There is no treatment for baldness occurred due to in heredity. However some medicines like Minoxidil are helpful in this case top some extent that too in initial phases. Most of the people, suffering with alopecia Areata, get re-growth of hairs after some times.
