Hair Loss
Hairs are the crowning glory of ones personality. Most of the people in the world want to have beautiful, shining and plenty of hairs on their head. Women make lots of efforts to make their hairs strong, healthy and glowing. Hair loss is a very big problem all over the world. Hairs follow a cycle of growing, falling and then growing. About ninety percent of hairs are in growing phase at one time and this lasts for about 2 to 6 years. 10 percent of hairs are at the resting stage and after about 3 months, these hairs fall. In the place of these fallen hairs, new hair growth takes place. But when more hairs fall than the normal, then it is called as the hair loss.
Types for Hair Loss:
Hair loss may be of different types according to the reason of the hair fall.
Androgenic Alopecia is baldness occurred due to inheritance. It can be seen in women and men, both. In women, a hair thinning is more evident than baldness.
Alopecia Areata is a type of hair loss which occurs due to faulty immune system of our body. This condition is pronounced by presence of bald patches on the head or any other part of the body. In rare cases, alopecia Areata can turn into alopecia totalis (compete baldness) or alopecia universalis (hair loss from complete body.
Traumatic Alopecia: This type of hair loss occurs due to abuse of hairs with tight hairstyles, chemical treatments and excessive heat treatment. These kinds of treatments damage hairs to the extent that hair follicles stop producing new hairs.
Treating Hair Loss:
Generally hair fall can not be treated if it is a hereditary condition. There is no treatment for baldness occurred due to in heredity. However some medicines like Minoxidil are helpful in this case top some extent that too in initial phases. Most of the people, suffering with alopecia Areata, get re-growth of hairs after some times.
Generally, one should take proper nutrition and follow healthy life style, free of any stress to fight against general hair loss.
