Prepare a paste of salt and lemon juice. Apply the paste onto yellowish tint of your teeth for one minute. Then brush your teeth normally. Practice this home remedy for twice a week. This is an excellent way to get rid of that dull color from your teeth naturally. However, do not practice this remedy if you have sensitive gums or teeth.
You should also never use lemon juice directly on your teeth for whitening purpose as lemon contain acid which may weaken the teeth.
Take a peel of an orange and rub the white inner part it on your teeth. Orange peel leaves a good white shine on your teeth. You may also grind an orange peel to form a powder. Use the dried powder to get similar results.
Dried and powdered Bay leaves combined with dried orange peel also acts as an outstanding whitener. Dry some bay leaves and make a powder of it. Dry some orange peels. Combine the powder and the orange peel and rub on your teeth. Later brush on. This is a natural teeth whitener.
Rub your teeth with the bark of a walnut tree. It works excellent to remove the yellow stains from the teeth. This is a very simple and excellent natural remedy for tooth whitening.
Cut 1 strawberry into half. Size should be appropriate to fit your mouth. Rub the inside portion of the strawberry on your teeth till it turns pinkish. Leave it for five to ten minutes. Brush your teeth normally with regular toothpaste. This is a very good home remedy for tooth whitening. Also brush your teeth 2 times daily, morning and at before bed. You can also mash strawberries to form a paste. Applying the paste all over your teeth will bring similar visible results.
Take 1/4th teaspoon baking soda powder in a cup. Then add normal toothpaste to it to form a paste. The amount of the toothpaste can be a normal amount you use regularly to brush your teeth. Now with the help of your toothbrush apply the gritty paste all over your teeth and brush thoroughly. Wash off. This is one of the excellent and natural ways to get rid of yellow stains from teeth.
Take ½ cup white vinegar. Add 1 tablespoon salt to it. Use this as a mouthwash to rinse your mouth every day before bed time. This natural mouthwash will remove the yellow stain and give a sparkling white effect to your teeth.
Crush a strawberry. Add little baking soda to it. Then add hydrogen peroxide and lemon juice. With the help of a toothbrush rub this mixture on your teeth with for 5 minutes. Also avoid blueberry muffins in breakfast. Stews, dark chocolate, dark soups and similar foods that are dark in color may contribute to stains on your teeth and leave behind a hideous residue.
Also avoid citrus foods as they have acidic properties that may fade the teeth enamel. Or else brush your teeth every time after eating citrus foods. Chocolates, sweets and desserts are sticky and attract bacteria. They may also lead to discoloration of your teeth and damage the teeth enamel. So always brush your teeth after having any such foods. Drink plenty of water and have a healthy diet. This is vital for your bones and body. Include lot of proteins in your diet and take multivitamins for keeping teeth strong so that it lasts longer.
