Tomatoes

To decrease redness and blisters simply apply smashed mustard seeds on it.Cut the potato into two halves than scrap them with spoon to get a pulp then place this pulp on wet cloth and refrigerate them for some time. Now take this potato pulp cloth and bind it on affected burned area, replace it every 2-3 hours.Separate the egg yolk from egg white and apply egg white on burned area and let it be cool.Cut tomatoes in two halves and rub it on burn areas to avoid blisters.

Baking Soda

Soak a muslin cloth in vinegar or milk or in flax seed water and place it on burn area to avoid burn peeling and blisters.Apply vanilla extract on inflamed burn area 3-4 times daily to relieve pain caused by burns and protects it from scarring and blisters.Mix baking soda in some water to make a thick paste then apply it directly on burns to relieve pain, heal burning and blisters formation.

For soothing and cooling effect

Lavender Oil

Place toothpaste on superficial burned areas to take out heat from burns and gives cooling effect.Apply lavender oil on affected area as it contains natural antibiotic properties which help to heal burn area and also gives cooling effect.Mix few drops of chamomile with few drops of peppermint oil and apply it on affected burn area it helps in soothing burns.

Other Remedies For Burns

Olive Oil

Mix 2 teaspoons of marshmallow root and 2 teaspoons of comfrey root in pan, add 1 cup of olive oil and 1 cup wine into it then heat the mixture together for 30 min. and let it be cool. Once cold strain it and apply on affected area twice daily.Mix olive oil, beeswax and calendula herb flowers together in pan and heat it together till mixture gets melted then mix well and strain it. Once cold apply on affected area to heal burns.

It can be also used on cuts, wounds and rashes.Before treating burns at home make sure injury caused by burning is minor and superficial and not secondary or tertiary burns. If burned area shows pus, scarring and blisters seek the medical attention immediately.
