• Things you will need to pierce your belly button: Piercing needle 14g, Rubber gloves, Starter jewelry 14g, Body ink marker, Clamp, Mirror and Alcohol cleansing pads
• Find information about the piercing: Before going ahead it is always better to gather information about piercing and should prepare yourself that you are going to do all by yourself. Collect all the necessary items that you will need and then only go ahead.
• Cleanse the area with the help of an alcohol pad: Before piercing the belly button it is always better to clean the area with alcohol pad to make it bacteria free. Now with the help of a body marker, mark the exact area where you want to pierce the belly button. Mark both on the top, that is the point where you are going to insert as well as to the bottom that is from where you want the piercing to come out.
• Check the placement: Now by standing in front of the mirror, check whether the placement where you are going to pierce is as per your expectations.
• Clamp the piercing area: With the help of a clamp, clamp the area around the mark. This will help you to make your skin taut.
• Place the needle: Now on the mark which you have made on the top, place the needle. This is the most crucial part as any mistake will prove harmful hence go a little slow and avoids any kind of hesitation.
• Place the jewel: Once you place the needle it is time to thread the jewelry you want to pierce at the back of the needle. Once you place the jewelry, allow the jewelry to take its place at your belly button.
