Important Facial Skin Care Tips

Face is the most important thing when one perceives your beauty and personality. Whenever you converse with anybody face to face, other person can view your facial skin very minutely. Skin of face is very delicate and should be taken care of properly. Face reflects your inner and external beauties both. You should pamper your facial skin by taking good facial skin care.

Face is the uncovered part of the body; you do not cover it with cloths. Facial skin grabs all the dirt, dust and pollutants present in air. Facial skin is exposed to sunrays the most whenever you go out. Facial skin is the only area of skin which suffers the most due weather conditions. Facial skin needs special care to be in perfect state.

All the rules which apply for skin care also apply for facial skin care. The only difference is the kind of products you are using and the frequency of their usage.

Lets us consider facial skin care tips. Facial skin care includes cleansing, toning, moisturizing and protecting it from sunrays.

Before taking up any skin care, it is essential to determine your skin type; facial skin may be oily, dry, normal or combination skin. Choose skin care products and skin care routine according to your skin type.

Steps for facial Skin Care :

Cleansing: The first thing in the morning is to cleanse your face. Cleanse your face at least twice a day to remove any dust and oil gathered over there. Do not use bar soaps for your face.

Use cleanser which suits your skin type. Cleansers contain oil, surfactants and water. Oil on your face is dissolved by oil, makeup and dirt is best dissolve by surfactant and water washes it. The key is in finding cleanser with right amount of oil; too much oil will clog up the pores on facial skin and too little oil will dry out facial skin.

Toning: Toners and fresheners are applied after cleansing. It removes all the traces of oil, cleanser and dirt. It also tightens the skin and increases blood circulation on the skin. But be careful; do not apply astringents on dry skin because astringents are alcohol based and alcohol makes the skin drier. You can use mild toners like rosewater on dry skin.

Moisturizing: After every cleansing and toning routine, you must moisturize your skin. Moisturizers help to put back the moisture stripped by cleansers and it also acts as a barrier which prevents natural moisture to evaporate from the skin. Always apply the moisturizer on the damp skin. At this time skin pores are open and absorb moisture properly.

Sun protection: It is very important to protect your skin from damaging UV radiations emitted from sun. You should apply sunscreen lotion with minimum SPF 15 before out. Apply sunscreen lotion whether it is bright sun or cloudy day.

Women who is 30 plus in age should get regular facials by a professional.

Avoid washing with too much hot or cold water as it can cause broken capillaries; just use lukewarm water.

You should apply facial masks at least once a week to keep the skin firm and rejuvenated.

Do not pull or tug your facial skin; be gentle to it and use soft washcloth to dry it.

Exfoliate your facial skin regularly to remove dead cells accumulated on your skin.

Whenever you apply any skin care product on your face, use only gentle and circular motion. Motion should be upward and outward direction. It helps fight the bulge caused by gravity.
