Had gall bladder out in 2009 recently had one terrible attack and doctor said it is possible that a gall stone had developed in the bile duct. I am now having ultra sounds etc but would like to know what I can do in future to stop getting any more stones I thought that when I had the gall bladder out that that would be the end of the pain but seemingly it is not. I am a senior female.
