Back acne, sometimes referred to as bacne, is a very common problem that can be difficult to treat. Back acne can affect any person of any gender, but is more common among males. Back acne is caused by the same thing as facial acne. Overactive sebaceous gland, so more sebum is produced and can clog pores, large amounts of dead skin cells clogging pores and acne-causing bacteria are the main causes. When the pores become clogged a pimple, whitehead or blackhead will form.

Back acne can become worse due to certain factors. Clothing can cause friction and irritation if acne is present. The irritation can cause the acne to spread and inflammation to become worse. The medicine will target the acne and prevent it from coming back. Each wash will work differently, but it will either kill the bacteria, get rid of the dead skin cells or reduce the amount of sebum that is produced. Another excellent form of treatment for back acne is lotion that contains alpha hydroxy acid. The alpha hydroxy acid will exfoliate the skin and get rid of all the dead skin cells that can clog the pores.

Overall, if you experience acne on your face you may be prone to back acne. Try using an acne wash or lotion to prevent the back acne from forming.
