There is a vertical strip in the centre. This style is popular with rock stars. Mohwak punk style is there for more than 20 years. Different accessories like spikes, parts, loops, braids and many more are used for the creating punk styles. Punk hairstyles should be creative, awful and imaginative.

Death or Horror Punk Hairstyle: In this style, main characteristic is to get the hairs dyed in black or blue-black shades. Then spikes are made vertically in the centre as in the Mohawk type. This look resembles to Gothic looks.

Some Varieties of Mohawk Hairstyles:

 Liberty Spikes: In this style spikes are created in the middle of the head in Mohawk style. The spikes are designed in such a way as are present in Statue of Liberty.

Dread Hawk:   In this style hairs are not spiked instead are dreadlocked. In this style, hairs can be tied, braided, pleated or pulled back.

Reverse Mohawk : In this style hairs are shaved in reversed manner that is it gets a shaved line from the centre of forehead to the nape of the neck. On either side, there are hairs.

Side Hawk: This is altogether different variety. In this style, back of the head is shaved and hair strips are left from one ear to other one. This is a horizontal style rather than a vertical one. When spikes are created, it gives peacock like look.
