morining sickness treatment-eat saltine crackers.this will definitely releive symptoms:-)
#2 - TAM - 09/12/2008 - 21:25
I agree with TAM...keep saltine crackers by the bed and eat them before you attempt to get out of bed.
#3 - Christie - 09/17/2008 - 21:17
I did the saltine crackers the 1st 3 months of my pregnancy. They worked to a point but then I was getting sick of eating them. Then I was just getting sick. Ginger Snaps worked well along with Lemon water. I found that nibbling on the snaps seemed to work better for me than the crackers.. But, my doctor had to finally put me on a pill to help.

Crystalized ginger works great!

Acupuncture works too!! Every day I got to have a treament I was not sick for the rest of the day at all. I also sipped Sprite through out the day. I also ate crackers, but not saltines I don't like salty stuff so I found a good organic cracker that was less sodium.

Nothing helped my morning sickness - not ginger, saltines, peppermint, B6 vitamins, nothing! I just suffered 24/7 for 2 full months, unable to get out of bed longer than to throw up or go to the bathroom. Had to be put on a pill to help me start functioning again. It went away by week 13, the start of my second trimester.

Nothing seems to help my morning sickness and I am 9 weeks. Saltines do not help me much at all. They tend to stay down but I am still sick. I'm now taking a strong medication to help with the sickness and it helps but it is basically just taking the edge off. This is my third pregnancy, I had morning sickess the entire 9 months with my first and the second for 4 months. Good luck everyone!

If you start feeling sick I do two things I put on one of those eye mask with the gel (leave in the fridge always) it helps relax you, takes headaches away and reduces puffy eyes also i'll use a neck wrap that stays in the freezer. for some reason its almost impossible to throw up while it's on the back of your neck. Works great if you get really sick from drinking or after a surgery. I'm 7 weeks pregnant with morning sickness and that seems to work great. Once you feel it coming on just get the eye mask or if its really bad do both at the same time. you can get them both at walmart the eye mask are about $6 and the neck wrap is $10.

It seems like stuff worked for me in intervals. First gingerale was working, then lemon water did the trick, and even saltine crackers. Ha, yeah I still keep trying those, but as the days go on, Im not fidning any relief! My fiance' offered me a piece of mint gum one day, and I just took half and for as long as the taste lasted my stomach was calm enough to enjoy our night out. Hopefully this one last longer than everything else!:-D

:-( This is my 2nd pregnancy and as it seems its gonna be as rough as the 1st one! I was sick the whole 8 months that I was pregnant with my 1st and I mean all day long sickness to the point of hospitalization for dehydration. Nothing seems or seemed to work for me. I'm now 8weeks pregnant and its going in that same direction again. Every morning waking up sick as a dog! No crackers, sprite, nothing works! I'm just trying to make it through the day with a smile and hope that it will go away. The doctors seem to laugh it off and jokingly say your body may be allergic to pregnancy! I know that I haven't ever tried the lemon water but that will be on my list for in the morning! Wish me luck, hope it works!

Alcohol wipes (the type used before you get a shot) open up on of them and allow to air out a lil bit then sniff works wonders for all nausea. I'm a mom of 2 and the anestia dr. told me this tip with my first :)
#16 - Amanda - 11/04/2010 - 16:20
Hello, I am only on my 7th week and have been sick since about the 4th week and it is already getting old. The ginger/ lemon tea is making me feel extremely ill, crackers are not much help, nothing helps all that much, it seems like all you can do is deal with it. Although I just took Amanda's advice and sniffed an alcohol wipe from our medicine cabinet at work and so far, I am starting to feel ok!! Thanks so much! I will try anything!
#17 - Paula - 11/10/2010 - 13:59
ive tried all of the home remedies.. even tried the pill... i ate a pizza the other day and it was the cure.. now i keep them stocked!! also weird but the topping for apple crisp works amazing when youre just stuck in bed watchin movies..
#18 - Destiny - 11/28/2010 - 23:15
:-( Oh Darlings, I feel your pain. I had the sickness for almost the first four months, both pregnancies. And sometimes even after the first trimester, I still throw up at random times. Its terrible, but it will pass so hang in there. Sometimes I was able to hold down certain things, other times not. I found that when you eat whatever your craving at that moment; it will stay down (unless its pizza and orange juice, that didn't work at all). May the force be with you.

This is my fourth child. The first psyched me out as I only had THE SICKNESS for a few weeks then everything was peachy. That was my daughter, the next two children, both boys, I had THE SICKNESS the entire pregnancy. I am in the middle of my 12th week and I am still battling the all day tummy anger. Only now its not just strong smells, or greasy foods, or sweet things, or cows milk, or not eating before bedtime, but if the temp gets above 73 degrees Im throwing up even if my tummy is fine. Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous.. I will try that chilled neck pad to see if it battles this temp thing.. As far as the rest, I have tried it all, except the alcohol wipe as that seems as if Im just sniffing chemicals..
#24 - Rebecca - 01/11/2012 - 14:21
Ginger snaps seem to be easing mine a little. I've also found being right near the air con helps, being cold takes it away a bit. I'm only 7 weeks and it's driving me nuts. But it'll so all be worth it. ;-)
#25 - Em - 06/01/2012 - 04:47
