NATURAL HOME REMEDIES FOR STRETCH MARKS

With a sudden gain in weight fine lines are formed on the body and these lines are called stretch marks. During puberty it is the normal thing that happens in many girls and boys. In the medical term it is known as striae gravidarum.

Causes of Stretch Marks
The various causes of stretch marks are:
  • Pregnancy
  • Gain in weight or weight loss
  • Rapid growth especially in adolescents
  • Change in physical conditions
Home Remedies for Stretch Marks

Application of vitamin K cream is also beneficial in the stretch marks treatment. The foods containing vitamin K can also be included in the diet and they are green leafy vegetables, tomatoes, liver and dairy products.

Applying lavender oil on the marks thrice a day will fade up the marks soon. This is one of the simple and good home remedies for stretch marks.

Application of Aloe Vera gel or vitamin E also helps to cure stretch marks and is also good home remedy for stretch marks.

Baby oil, mixed with cocoa butter lotion. It helps with itchy dry skin, which is more prone to stretch marks than well oiled skin.
#13 - ddluv - 06/12/2008 - 16:21
I got stretch marks from the same thing as many of you, growing up too fast.
someone suggested to simply use heavy moisture lotions like Nivea, St Ives, or generic cocoa butter to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day (nothing cheap or watered down like Suave). Using the lotion on a daily basis can help keep your skin hydrated (also the obvious--eating healthy and drinking lots of water) helps you skin adjust to changes like stretching and growing.

i'm studying to become a massage therapist, massage can help, and with cellulite. massage in the direction of your heart (going away isn't so good for your blood flow). keeping the area moisturized is good--like oils (olive, jojoba, almond, grapeseed, etc.) i personally don't like mineral/baby oil because there's a bunch of crap in them (fragrances can help dry out the skin) or vaseline--patroleum jelly supposedly does moisturize the skin, but makes it so it is "reliant" on it, getting dry when you don't use it. i just prefer more natural, organic stuff, makes me feel a little happier. well, massage in general is good for you...helps to get rid of toxins and all that jazz...one might want to try drybrushing. look it up if you don't know what it is.
i'm currently using a vitamin K creme, and it works pretty well...i've used it before, but haven't in a loooong time. i bought it at Marshalls, i think.
don't worry, previous 15 year old poster--stretch marks aren't the end of the world, men will still adore you with them. i've had plenty of men think i'm awesome, and i've had stretch marks (mostly on my love handles/sides) since i was 10-11 years old.
i'm guessing the lemon because of its acidity--gets rid of the excess dry, flaky skin, which can help fade the stretch marks.
so, through experience--slough off the dead skin, and massage a moisturizer in.

exfoliator: mix sea salt (smaller stuff) with any kind of natural oil you want/not allergic to (sunflower, olive, vitamin e, etc.) so you can make a oily paste to massage on in the shower. it's very good for your skin!

#16 - mihelle - 06/28/2008 - 21:52
just because you ahve stretch marks doesnt mean your a fat lazy crazy person who can't stop shoveling food into their mouths and anyone who said anything liek that on here are sorrowfully mistaken ... i have stretch marks from a growth purt and i am NOT fat and I DONT have an eating disorder. and if your so prejudice towards this why are you onthis site anyways?
#17 - ANGRY - 07/07/2008 - 14:25
anti-wrinkle cream might work you can get a cheap one because its purpose is to plump the skin giving it more elasticity to fix itself which is what stretch marks need, my cousion used bio oil and hers are hardly noticeable also, lemon juice fades the skin which makes the stretch marks blend in with your own skin tone. also, tanning.
#18 - holly - 07/09/2008 - 18:22

Take two capsules Oregano Oil per meal and apply royal jelly to the affected area. Try to keep it drenched all the time. The Oregano Oil will kill the bacteria internally and the Royal Jelly wil kill bacteria externally and help it heal without leaving scabs or scars.

#29 - Jazzmin - 08/23/2008 - 02:41
O wow I've been massaging and putting olive oil all over my body for 2 days now and I already see results, my strech marks look more light, its crazy just in 2 days , but it might not work for everyone considering everyone has different skin, but try 'warm' olive oil (maybe put some in your microwave) and poor it all over your body, massage it into your body for about 20 min everyday, if you dont see results it just might be the kind off skin you have , like coco butter doesnt work for me at all but olive oil does
#30 - Jazzmin - 08/23/2008 - 19:14
Alot of you guys are young woman and are wondering why you have stretch marks. It's usually because you're growing too fast. It doesn't mean you are fat, but you may be getting taller?

Well if it's not that, It can also be from taking really hot showers. When I was younger I lovedd to take steaming showers, and when i was done, i would get really itchy and scratch my body alot without moisturizing my skin....

It led to many many many stretch marks that I really hate. I still have not found anything that had helped much, but Like someone said in a previous post, I've seen somewhat of a fading while using thicker creams.

Hope this helps some! :-D
#31 - Steph - 09/02/2008 - 02:53
folks i had really bad strechmarks from losing weight after my baby way to fast ... so know its not always from eating to much .. anyways i have been using this thing called a derma roller also known as a skin roller along with a cream from walmart thats supose to contain elastin and collegin very cheep 5 $ i think anyways use this fun combo about 1 every other day and it will help alot ... best part is it really helps on the older strechmark... and you can almost fully remove them .. also get a lofa from the store about a $ scrub some of the dead skin away using seasalt or baking soda .. i promice some result... everyones body varrys on how they handel thing and treatments but just give it a shot it worked for me .. there not gone but its helping a lot and the derma rollers effects continue to work for 12 monthes after your last session..

im 21 years old and ive got stretch marks on my stomach my sides and on my breasts this is due from having my daughter and twin boys well ive been using vitamin E alot puttin it on after showering, before bed and right when i wake up ive also been using apricot scrub which has worked beautifully. while ur in the shower use the apricot scrub as much as you need depending on how much area you are going to cover well scrub in a circular motion for about 10 minutes to each area it will help to soften the look of ur stretch marks and be sure to use the vitamin E right after you can also get vitamin E gel tabs break them open and apply directly to the area this has also worked for me my stretch marks have reduced dramaticly in 2 monthes try it and let me kno how it works for you
#38 - kristina - 10/19/2008 - 13:09
For all the younger girls out there upset over stretch marks, don't worry! Studies show that 90% of women have stretch marks and most guys will think you are beautiful regardless. I use Revitol Stretch Mark lotion and I find it works quite well. I also exfoliate and massage the area. They're fading pretty fast.
#39 - Lucy - 10/19/2008 - 13:32
I have 3 children, am only 22 and the all differ by just one year... (don't ask :) ) Anyway, heard Vicks works, but if you ask me I suggest exfoliation and then vit E oil... Seems to be working for me, though haven't been using it long... I have very sensitive skin and get rashes from everything except thisB-)
#40 - Princess - 10/23/2008 - 04:08
i had showed my stetchmarks to a proff skin dr nd he just told me tht once u get it,then it will not disappear completely only can fade by rubbing n massaging with lotion or oils but wont disappear completely :( once u get it u have it all life so its better to apply lotion regularly to avoid getting marks on other area, and cocoa butter lotion nd vitamin e lotion are good.

has anyone tried bio oil?? Ive been applying bio oil to my stretch marks.. im 22 and have them from having my baby at 16.. Since I gained so much weight theyre also on other parts of my body.. but, i bought bio oil which has gotton really great reviews.. I then take lemon juice with water which i put into a spray bottle and spray the stretch marks.. I use vita E, lemon juice, and bio oil and seen a small improvement.. I was also looking into Triasalin or however its spelled but its 150 for a bottle. However, you can return it if it doesnt work so i do plan on purchasing it :]

I am 26 yrs old, I had my first boy when I was 19. I have been battling stretchmarks since then. I am 5'2" tall and with my first pregnancy I weighed in at 201lbs! I started at 100lbs- I just blew up, between my poor eating habbits and becoming diabetic, the weight kept piling on. I have had another son since then and am back to healthy weight, 130lbs and losing:) it was mention aboved that vicks works-yes it does! my routine is like this- exfoliate in the shower with a body brush, immediently follow the shower with a rub down of Gold Bond triple action medicated lotion (smells bad but works) at night I use vicks. My stretch marks have reduced dramatically. I also used trilastin-not natural and way expensive but I loved the results. excersie is good for pregnancy related stretch marks, due to the loss of muscle around the tummy area, the tighter your abs are, the more taught your skin is the less noticable the scars. Their are so many young girls on here that are worried to death over these unsightly scars-please don't be, beauty is something you radiate rom within, and guys never see are flaws like we do! as women, young or old, we are hardest on ourselves. Confidence is the most beautiful thing in a mans eyes, I should know- I am married, however my confidence failed after my son, and I no longer was hit on by anybody, this many years later, feeling great about myself, and confidence pouring from within, I am pursued more often than not-just because of the differance in my attitude. My husband though he has loved me for the past eight years, enjoys a more confident me as well-so please ladies try the suggestions on this site to aid you in removing your scars but do not get down on yourself, especially you guys in your teens- youre still growing and your skin will most likely repair itself- mine did. good luck to all- and try the vicks!

I am 25 and pregnant looking for a natural way to prevent and get rid of the stretch marks that have already started. I cannot believe that some of you are so crude to think that you are fat because you have stretch marks and if that is what you think than I will gladly carry my stretch marks because having a baby is one of the most beautiful joys and experiences that anyone can have in their life.
THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE SUGGESTIONS I WILL TRY THEM AND WILL LET THOSE THAT ARE INTERESTED HOW IT GOES.

#55 - jgabby - 02/03/2009 - 22:18
As long as it is a new stretch mark (still pink or dark and not white yet) you can use Mederma on it. It is used to treat scars and they sell it just about everywhere. It is kind of pricey, but it works. Also, I have hears that cocoa butter helps some people, but it just depends on the person I guess. Mederma DOES work, though. My best friend used it when she was pregnant and has like 1 or 2 VERY small ones left after gaining 50 lbs during her pregnancy. All the others went away. Good luck!
#56 - therealslimkatie - 02/05/2009 - 01:28
Yeah well it seem a lot of teenagers get stretch marks around 12-16, excluding pregnant people of course. Im a 15 year old with stretch marks, getting stressed out but after reading this I dont feel so bad, I grew like 2 foot in a year, that might have contributed....lol.... anyway good luck with all your treatments folks and thx for the advice

I'm 26 years old and i have tried basically everything there is on the market for stretch marks, they always get me with these pretty ads :( I've suffered from stretch marks since 16, i've never been able to show my legs :( and loveee short skirts and short dresses!! i've lost half my youth and don't want to lose the other half in covered up clothes, i'm married and my husband kisses my stretch marks coz he thinks i'm beautiful regardless but i don't careee!!!! i love showing skin!! lol the only thing that i would say worked a littlee was cocoa butter 3 times a day religiouslyy!!!
#62 - Julie - 03/27/2009 - 13:03
I've read about several of the ingredients in some of the post and I can say from my experience they really work. I use lemons that I cut up and put in a food processor along with aloe vera gel and vicks vapor rub. I microwave if for about 5 secs (gets REALLY hot if you do it longer)...Its extremely messy, but I let it sit on my stretch marks for about 10 minutes. I've only been doing it for about 3 weeks and have noticed a drastic improvement!! After I rinse it off, I use a cocoa butter stick and rub it into my stretch marks. It amazes me how I've spent $100s on creams that didn't work and now I spend around $10 and have better results.
#63 - Tryingnewthings! - 03/29/2009 - 20:55
I'm 15 years old and have bad stretch marks on the back of my thighs. I can't stand them and I don't want to wear short because of them. I have heard good things about olive oil and lemon juice, but is there anything besides that? I'm allergic to citric acid and olive oil bugs my skin. I don't know what to do.
#64 - Rawr I'm A Dino - 04/02/2009 - 20:38
I am 23 yrs. old. 103 Lbs. and always been very slim and never had stretch marks, until i got pregnant. And now I have had them on my belly for 2 1/2 yrs. I hate them, but my husband does not care! He still finds me [@]y. Anyhow-Doing pushups for atleast 20-30 minutes 5 days a week (to tighten and firm up the muscles), I heard putting baby power on the stretch marks can help but ive never tried it. Any kind of lotions or oils with Vitamins in them should help. Stretch marks CAN fade away alittle (depending on how bad you have them)... but there is no CURE, except for laser surgery or plastic surgery. Very expensive.

Over here, we use shear butter which may not work for everyone, or cocoa butter. but the most relable is snake fat. python fat to be presice. as gross and disgusting as it sounds,it is the best remedy and will work for every one. it helped me alot. but it stinks really really bad.
#69 - girl - 04/28/2009 - 15:59
stretch marks are genetic. sorry ladies. my mother has them, i have them. when i was pregnant, i put coco butter on religiously. and i still have them. as for the young girls, the marks fade in a couple years. if a man cant accept you because of them, then he aint a real man. they dont care. my boyfriend actually likes them. says i look like a tiger. grrr... anyway, try to keep your body lotioned and a vitamin e supplement should help as well. for a temp fix, use makeup. :-D

hello, im a 29 year old african american women that has had stretch marks for as long as i can remember. I got them from yoyo-ing weight loss and gain. when i was younger (before the age of 19) they really bothered me. but now that im older not so much so.
Like many of the people on here i've tried it all!!! The best remedy first and foremost not worring about then! you know mind over matter. then go to any store that sale vitmins and purchase a bottle of Flaxseed oil (@ Walmart $5 for a 100 caps)

Flaxseed oil is one of natures miracles. it will not only help with skin conditions(acne, redness, scars etc) it will also aid in heart health, nails and hair growth and strength . It also aided me in losing 60lbs last year without even execising!!

To help with scretch marks i take about 20 caps(opened to get the oil out) then add to 1/2 cup olive oil. I then added this mixture to all my favorite lotions and body creams and message it into your skin. You may need to make more but keep the measurements the same.

Also this mixture can be added to your hair conditioners or warm it for a hot oil treatment, body scrubs (1/2 cup brown sugar +1/2 cup honey), rub it into your cuticles, rub on lips in winter, the possibilities are endless!!!

I hope this is helpful! Good Luck!

Two- to three times a day, rub a mixture of olive oil and lemon on the parts of your body with stretch marks then apply cocoa butter right after. This will kill the dead skin, rejuvenate your skin, and make it smooth. If your young and still growing and have red stretch marks dont worry too much because those strech marks will eventually, most likely fade through time, as you get new layers of skin as you grow. But if you still dont feel safe, drink 2 litres of water a day to replenish your insides and skin. Eat your fruits and vegies and dont abuse foods that are very unhealthy for you or that make your skin dry or dehyrate yourself.

Also, the main reason I got stretch marks was because I did my weight training excercises before my cardio, which wasnt good for my skin because I wasnt warmed up and loose. Make sure did get warmed up or sweat a little before weights, so your body and muscles arent tensed up.

Stretch marks are when the epidermal layer of the skin was stretched to its max, so for pregnant women, men trying to lose weight or are gaining weight etc. Apply and follow the recipe I gave above to prevent stretch marks from forming, your best bet is safer there.

White or silver stretch marks arent as noticable as you think, dont worry people wont notice. Purple ones with get better with care. Remember 8 out of 10 women get stretch marks. Along with many men as well.

well i am 15 and i have bad stretch marks on my inner thighs and a little on my inner calves. some on my hips and some on my breasts. i mean i think of myself as bigger than most people cause i am 125 pounds and i am only 4'11 and i dont think i will be growing anymore. but anyways, i havent a clue what will work but i just bought some bio-oil. it seems like its working a bit. i mean ive only tried it for 3 days so im hoping it gets better. i am also planning to loose weight this summer so. hopefully i will feel better about myself. for all teens out there, i would try bio-oil. just buy one bottle. its says it should last about 3 months. and i have told everyone in my family about my stretch marks. even my twin brother and once i told him it made me feel better cause he excepted me for them and now im not so embarressed to wear some things anymore. :]
well i hope bio-oil works for some of you if you try it........i guess this is just life huh??

i'm sixteen, and summer is starting.
about two months ago I realized that I was devloping red marks on my upper inner thigh, and on the outside of my thigh.
they really disgust me, and I cry about them all the time.
i am not fat at all, and I have always loved wearing swimsuit and short shorts, but this summer is going to be different.
i am never going to be able to wear what I love to in the summer,
and I honestly can't wait for summer to be over,
I don't want to feel like this, but I think I have to.
pleas someone help me, I can't deal with these horrible marks on me.

thank you

Castor Oil pack--25-30 mnts a day until all marks are gone! Castor oil releases toxins from skin, and also work for scars which is what stretch marks basically are! Castor oil will also make your facial skin younger and get rid of your wrinkles! ITs good for warts, moles, and dark spots--basically it works for any skin problem. Try it--u will be amazed! Works faster than most remedies if you combine with rosehip seed oil, tea tree oil, and vitamin e oil. Castor oil works like a laxative so dont be alarmed thats just your lympathic system detoxifying itself so drink plenty of water!
Let me know if anybody tries it and how it works for anybody!

#82 - LT - 06/28/2009 - 01:05
I have a 5 year old and a 3 week old. I got deep marks from my first child, which has faded over time. I re-used my old stretch marks for my most recent child. They got red all over again and I got a few new ones.

I am currently trying a mixture of 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/2 cup aloe vera gel, and 6 capsules (broken) of Vitamin E oil. Mix and refrigerate overnight.

The strech marks are deep and red now, so I will update everyone on how it works for me over the next few months. I tried using Cocoa Butter while pregnant with my 1st child religiously, but did not work.

Hopefully this will work. Wish me luck!

Hi ladies, like most of you, i too have tried it all. I have them on my stomach, and behind my knee's, due to my 2 pregnancies...i'm a very athletic person, and eat well, but it's just something that happens to some...we must love and embrace our bodies...i have found that using a self tanner helps to decrease the appearance of them...Hope this helps..;-)

Hi everyone. Just want to say I really appreciate the tips. I have tried so many different things to get rid of my stretch marks, but the little suckers are still there, although they have faded a little bit but not much. BTW- I have tried Trilastin because there was a show on Tyra where they recommended it, but after a few months I gave up because I really didn\'t see much result from this product. It\'s still nice of Tyra to address the frustrating issue of stretchmarks though. I really like her show. (Also, has anyone tired Goodbye Cellulite by Nivea. It works pretty good for cellulite but you have to keep using it to keep the results. It does make your skin feel way soft though. You can get it at Wal-Mart for like 10.00 a bottle, which lasted me about a month.)

I have heard that emu oil really helps with stretchmarks. What a lot of stretchmark products lack is the ability to get down past the first few layers of skin. That\'s why they may fade a little bit, but not all the way. From what research I have been doing I have found out that emu oil gets down deep into the skin. I guess it is supposed to mimick something in our own skin or something like that. Anyway, I plan on trying it mixed with maybe bio oil or some other kinds of oils like olive or flaxseed and vitamin E oil. If it works on my stubborn marks that I have had for years then I will post my results and let you know if it works. I\'m just so tired of buying the expensive creams that have always let me down.

The Bible says that true beauty in a woman comes from fear of the Lord (meaning respect and reverence). I have that, but hopefully the emu and other oils may work too. God bless everyone. Let me know if the emu oil works if any of you try it too.

#91 - ugly marks - 08/03/2009 - 23:42
Aww poor beautiful girls, especially those being taken over by puberty. I know how you feel as I had the same problem, I am now 25 but... When I first got them I had no idea what they were and I hated them but didn't bother treating them. I got them on my shoulders my hips my butt my thighs and right below my waist. It was embarracing and I fet self concious about them but like I said I didn't know what they were and didn't treat them specifically. Maybe put on lotion here and there but not for the purpose of fading stretch marks and FIRST OFF you should know that they fade on their own. It's likely they will get to the point where you can barely even see them if at all. The ones on my lower body pretty much became invisible on their own but the shoulder ones, even though they fadedm in certain light or certain angles I could see them and I was embarraced to wear short sleeves in my younger adult hood. I got marries at 18 and my jerky husband pointed them out. Well I started using cocoa butter on them and on one shoulder they are completely invisible, sometimes if I rub my skin I may feel a hint of them though but no one can see them. On the other shoulder I got a tattoo where they seemed a little more stubborn (not telling any teens to go get a tat) but just be consistent with whatever you do. Don't get dicouraged and give up because in some cases these ugly stretchmarks can take up to a year to fade so don't give up just because you are not seeing results as fast as you may want. For those calling people fat, and saying stop eating and work out! You are very ignorant and probably have some on your own butt or some place you don't know!! but it's not from excessive eating and working out does not get rid of what's there. Maybe you are just fortunate not to have them, does not mean screw with people who have them because I'm sure it makes us feel bad enough without your help. I bet over 90% of these posts are from females because we are more prone to them with pregnancy, growth spurts, puberty and development of breasts and hips and everything else that makes us [email protected] There is nothing wrong with your body, you just need to stay confident and not let anyone tear you down. Maybe your friends don't have them now and they may be stick thin and make you feel small but those girls are the ones who are going to have one hell of a time once they get pregnant and with the expansion of hips, boobs and stomach... And you may be just fine because your body has already stretched and gained more elasticity. I am now battling the marks again as I just had twins! I did not get big other than my stomach growing so I have them on my belly. I do believe that had I only had one baby I wouldn't have got them at all because I didn't get them til 8 months! So I am using an apricot scrub and cocoa butter and also I am ordering a cream for it since with pregnancy they were a bit more exstensive. It's called revitagen-fx... Pretty costly but I've heard nothing but good about it. You don't have to go expensive for basic marks though, just be persistant with cocoa butter which sells very cheap and Shea butter as well if you could mix those 2 things and even better if it has vitamin E (which most lotions do) you will be good to go. Look in stores for the cocoa butter lotion with the pregnant woman on front, whether you are preg or not this lotion is good in preventing new stretchmarks appearing and also fading dark ones you may already have. It's easy to find at like Walmart Kmart drug stores. Lotion Isle, o rjust ask a clerk. But keep your heads up high and stay faithful to whatever treatment you use, it will absolutely pay off. ps. Sorry for bad grammar and punctuation. I was just doing some research and I saw this and it made me sad for what you ladies and maybe some fellas are going through but I was there and again I am battling them but I won before and with my positive outlook I'm sure this time will be no different even with a more severe case. my baby is crying lol need to see to her. If I find this site later I will post my results.
God bless

I am 26, and I had my stretch marks for over 10 years tried just about everything with liitle results. thats until I recently bought a derma roller and i rolled for twice a week and put palmers stretch mark cream on right after. I used the palmers cream every day. about 6 weeks later my marks were almost gone, at first i thought it wasnt working. apparently your skin rejuvenates itself every 40 days so thats really when you will see improvement for any product that you use. I hope this helps, i have been doing this for 3 months now and i can barely see my marks. oh and drink lots of water.

I've had stretch marks since I was 10. [20 yrs old now] >-( However, I'm not going to say it's because of a growth spurt, because I've always been plus sized. For all of you younger girls out here, why would you want booty shorts anyway? If you want mister right you need to cover it up! Let the men be curious about what's underneath!

Anyways, stretch marks aren't so horrible. But I am going to try to using glycerin [local walmart] and see if that will help fade them. Mine haven't faded, and didn't start off pink. We're all different. Hell, I've met guys that have them. My boyfriend has one. Seriously, one stretch mark. It's diagonal going from his underarm pointing to his collar bone. xD Don't worry about the stretch marks. If anything is ever said about them, knock the goob off their high horse. =] Confidence is the key!
#99 - Anya - 09/15/2009 - 18:17
i'm trying cocoa butter ..its about to be a month...and i've seen some difference..though it could also be because of tanning..well they haven't faded completely bt i can see them a li'l lighter thn before! i have stretch marks on arms... anyways i'm gonna continue with that .., and if i see the results i'll let you all know about this!B-);-)>-(

hi girls, im 17 years old and i share the same problem. i have been using palmer's cocoa butter and it has been working for me. but you have to use it regularly. i constantly keep the stretch marks covered in lotion to prevent them from drying out. i am a bit self consicence about my body right now but it isnt the end of the world. i understand that there is a certain appearance that girls feel obliged to look like, like models and celebrities but they are human and they do share the same stuff we do. i do reccommend you girls to give palmer's a try. and if that doesnt work there are many other options. but it isnt something to stress over. take care!!!:-D and keep smiling

I'm 18, and I've had stretch marks, since I was 13 or 14 years old. I hate to look in the mirror, because of the stretch marks. I heard that they are caused by a vitamin C deficiency, so I'm going to try to take in more vitamin C. I haven't started yet because in order for the body to even recieve vitamin C, you have to make sure your salts aren't too high. Do this by drinking plenty of distilled water. This might help. :-)
#108 - ASHWITHMARKS - 11/22/2009 - 20:22
I suggest you use raw shea butter and vitamin E oil you guys. Also Castor is really goody to reduce the size of them and flatten them. I tried Palma Christi Castor oil and reduce a stretch mark I had since I was twelve down to needle size in a week just by me applying it every day, imagine if I have used the Castor oil pack and concentrated for 35-40 mins a day. My sister had the most horrible stretch marks on her breast after having her first child and I mixed raw shea butter and olive oil and they lighten them in a matter of weeks and almost disappeared. For even better results exfoliate with a scrub in the shower using a loofah. I use castor oil on my stretch marks after having my 1 child at 21, and they flatten them almost completely, but I stop using it though. I need to start back, and I never got to tried the castor oil packs. I'm sure that will work. Castor oil is great for healing scars and so is Unrefined Shea butter, because of the all the vitamins and has 12 times the amount of vitamins E as coco butter. For all those who have used coco butter and it doesn't work, try Shea butter with a little vitamin E and exfoliate before applying. Stretch marks can go completely away with dedication. My sister is 41 with 4 kids, and had stretch marks for years, but when she turn 39 she start using simply things like coco butter and Castor oil keeping her skin moisturize and now all the little white marks that use to be on her belly is completely gone and she as a navel ring.

hey guys let me give you some information that'll hopefully make a little wiser about all these 'remedies'. first of all these oils and creams are all only reaching the epidermis layer of your skin, but the stretchmarks that you see are formed in the dermis (middle) layer, when not enough collagen has been created in time with your growth. this means that the oils etc may erase the redness in certain circumstances (another factor is genes) but they will still be there, trust me. they will appear as white silvery lines, and for some of you, you may think that this is fine, that you can deal with that, but others can't. i would advise using a microdermabrasion cloth on the marks and products like bio oil, emu oil etc after using it. also using glycolic acid (at least 30%) everyday is an amazing way to get RID of them, but as it is an acid the skin does become a little sensitive, it is well worth sticking to everyday though for the results it gives you. you can get all of these products from places like ebay etc.
#116 - jade - 02/27/2010 - 19:40
oh and if you want to know how i know all this its because i probably had worse stretchmarks than most of you, i had them on my arms, thighs, back of my legs, hips, bum and breasts they were so depressing, i hated looking at myself in the mirror and i was sick of not being able to wear certain clothes like short sleeved tshirts and skirts and shorts. when i finally saw one starting to appear on my KNEE i did something about it, it took me forever, researching all the different home remedies, laser surgery, everything, and because i'm a med student i studied the science of it all before doing ANYTHING. i'm so pleased it's worked, and i am sure it will work for you too, but it does require dedication.

hello. I got stretch marks when i was about 9 or 10 years old. i just saw some articles that having stretch marks doesnt mean youre fat. some have stretch marks even though they are not fat because they are hereditary. i've been puting olive oil mixed with coconut oil for about a week now, its kinda lightening now. its hard for the person to have a mind set of putting this and that on your skin to get rid of stretch marks since every skin of each of us are different. just try and try until you find the best solution for your skin.

Hi im 16 y/o and ever since i was around 11 i started getting stretchmarks all over my lower back and inner arms eventually they got to my belly and the part of the arm where you bend, but then at 15 i got pregnant and had my gorgeous baby girl but i was left with even MORE hideous stretchmarks, about a week ago i started applying lemon juice on my arms. I would then take a shower and i would put on Palmer's Cocoa Butter after i got out. I noticed its kinda starting to reduce the appearance of them so ima try it on all my body to see if i see a difference. Best of luck to all of you

Hi, I'm a 31 yr old mother of 4....I have plenty of stretch marks from my pregnancies...TANNING helps ALOT!!!!( but does dry out your skin) Use Cocoa butter right after tanning and in the morning to keep your skin hydrated. I am going to try the olive oil coconut oil mix on my stubborn stomach baby marks....ugh....Best of luck ladies!!! And to the younger girls, men will still love you even if you have stretch marks, make them fall in love with you for your heart, not your appearance, your not going to be beautiful forever.
#124 - Andrea - 03/26/2010 - 08:15
if you massage your skin not just the bits that can been seen but all over the body, from a young age (as skin looses its elasticity from the age of 25.) as you grow, regardles of age or pregnacy, your skin will be more elestacated and supple. it does'nt matter what you use as long as you moisturise daily. i am on my 5th pregnacy and i have no strechmarks simply because i keep my skin moisturised.

Hi, I don't know this will help, but I've noticed some changes. A few months ago, I asked my dermatologist about my cellulite issue (it progressed dramatically after having started the birth control pill) and she put me on a high dose of Vitamin C (don't do this without consulting a doctor) and advised me to scrub with brown sugar-olive oil mixture, and do contrasting showers (hot-cold, a few times quickly). I've noticed a difference in my skin in a few months, it's tighter, the cellulite dimples are less visible, but also the stretch marks are smaller in depth due to the skin tightening. Hope this helps.

I'm about to turn 15 and have had stretch marks since I was 10 years. I know it seems bad but all y'all should feel good that at least your stretch marks are somewhere you can cover. I live in Florida and my stretch marks are all on my arms. It be so hot in the summer and I'm stuck wearin a jacket. I've missed so many important events over it and it [@]. I missed my 8th grade dance my 8 th grade pool day and I can 't go to beaches pools or water parks. I have to make excuses and my friends get mad that I can't hang with them. I have stretch marks pretty much every where. I got them because I was over weight as a child and my doctor told me to lose weight or I would have health problems. I lose 40 pounds within 2 yes and had stretch marks ever since. I'm using revitol stretch mark cream and it's been a month. Nothing yet but I understand that 5 yr old stretch marks can't go away in a month. I wish for the best. I recommend aloe Vera gel though because it has healing benefits exspecially for scars

hi my name is melissa and i have had stretch marks since i became pregnant with my first daughter when i was just 17 years old. i swear they seemed to just pop up overnight. after having her i was left with deep purple stretch marks, some of them were as wide as my finger!!! i tried everything i could get my hands on but of course nothing seemed to work. by the time i had my son which was exactly 6.5 years later the color of them had changed from purplish-pink to a silverish color. someone had suggested that i use preparation H!!!!! yes, i am talking about the same preparation H that one would use if they had a hemorroid. haha. The color of the scars will fade on their own with time but you will still be able to feel them. this is where the preparation H comes into action. it will help shrink the size of them. it will NOT totally remove the stretch marks but it will shrink them drastically. today i am 39 years old and have been pregnant 3 times and i can put on a bikini and not be embarrassed or insecure. tanning also helps as stated in the other testimonies. i also use the preparation H on my face for the wrinkles i am starting to get now. but thank god i have never had to use it for its real purpose. lol. i just put it on before i go to sleep for the night and when i wake up in the morning the areas that i applied it to are soft and smooth and then i just cleanse my face as normally would. dont expect to see results for about 4-6 weeks. and you young girls out there have to remember this is not the end of the world! do not let your beauty and self worth be determined by the sight of your body. men would rather be with a woman who is confident , relaxed and comfortable with her body instead of with a woman who is trying to hide something when the lights are on. so good luck girls...hope my advice works. and remember REAL women have stretch marks!

Hey everyone!

Just to let you know, I am fifteen, and YES, like everyone else, I have stretch marks! But you know what? I am truly not really worried about them! Because I know that it's not what's on the outside but on the inside that counts.

I am heartbroken by what the world is shoving down womens' throats like "you HAVE to be PERFECT and a have a super [email protected] image to be loved." Pish posh!

I don't show off my body - I try to keep a sweet spirit and attitude and smile, and you know what? I have had many admirers! :) That's really what matters! If he will leave you because of stretch marks than he's not a real man and he doesn't really love you. Don't even try to impress him.

So yes, you can try some of these natural remedies with me, but please - let's all remember just how wonderfully we were made in God's image and that though we may not be perfect (who is?! the models are digitally and cosmetically altered - they probably wish they look like their own picture!), we are to take care of our bodies the best we can and keep a wonderful attitude! Don't stress over it, and remember - I read that a statistic shows that 90% of women have stretch marks! YOU'RE NOT ALONE! :) Stretch mark power! lol!

:-D
Me again after few months and I can say it works! First you all need patience because the home remedies needs time like minimum 6 months, so I wrote my first message on 27.04 and before that I applaied for 2 months the sweet almond oil, and after that I tryied the mix with olive oil, shea butter and sweet almond oil, but I can say that after all this months experimenting a lot I found out that the best way is mixing everything together to have the powerful weapon against stretch marks and I mean: shea butter, olive oil, sweet almond oil + sunflower oil, coconut oil, cocoa oil, jojoba oil, avogado oil, wheat germ oil, argan oil, shea oil, palm oil + vitamine E, A, K + rosemary oil, levender oil, chamomile oil, castor oil and aloe vera gel . Try this!
My stretch marks are 80 % gone! You will see a BIG difference around 3-4 month, I have still the minimum 6 months to finish so... I will let you know in november if they all vanished or not:-D I mean the deep one's...but any way I'm happy with my result

Im 17 and i got stretch marks from my contraceptive implant. my whole butt is covered no word of a lie and there about 1cm deep and really red. Wondering "Misscherie" where can i get all the 'ingredients' for your "ultimate removal mix" lol xx please write back
#155 - Rebecca - 08/29/2010 - 19:57
hy rebecca :-D don't worry the red stretch marks are the new stretch marks and it means that will be less hard to remove, my advice is to put something sooner because you can do a BIG thing to your stretch marks now....I know that are a lot's of oils but you can put it gradually, every months you can add a new oil....for example start ASAP with the shea butter+olive oil+sweet almond oil+vitamine E and than add on 2 nd month other 2-3 oils and you can continue like that every month (if you can't find the some oils and you find insted the butter for example the coconut butter insted of coconut oil that will to fine)...ok you'll use a empty bottle and you'll add the ingredients there you'll give a big shake and then you put it into the area with problems....half of the bottle you put the shea butter and you add more olive oil than the rest of the oils, a spoon/teaspoon of each oils is enough...this is to moisturize your skin, but you have to hidratate your skin and you'll use a shea soap or black soap, and to exfoliate use a natural loofah sponge and the ingredients you can find in supermarket, pharmacy, drugstore, natural store, order from the internet, african shop...hope I was helpful!

I am 18 years old, and i start having stretch marks when im an incoming 1st year high school student. at dfirst, i didn't mind but for a long time, i noticed that it was getting worse until it changed into light mark. so bad that it appered on my thighs, that's why i cannot wear shorts.i thought it was just ok, for i have a white complexion but as years passed, i noticed that the affected area gets even bigger... now, i also have it on my breasts, hips, waists and beside my armpit.. so then, i cannot also wear sleeveless... i i felt so badly about it, because i should always wear long clothes that will cover my stretchmarks, which makes me look very conservative. i tried different oils and lotions, and i actually bought one that is very expensive on a home tv shopping but it didn't work.. until now, i have it and this is my problem. i am a business student and wearing corporate attire during defense is a must. i cannot wear skirts unlike my classmates... please give an effective, but not expensive treatment that will surely cure my stretch marks.

With the home remedy cure IT NEEDS TIME!
I'm useing this kind of treatment fot about 9 months (4months sweet almond oil and 5months ''the mix'') and the stretch marks did faded, in some parts are GONE, but where they were deep I still have them, they changed the appearence and I'm ok with that...I still have to eliminate the one's that left, so be patient and moisturize your skin.
#162 - misscherie - 09/28/2010 - 16:29
misscherie how can i use these oils? for how long in the day? i mean when i rub them on my skin then when should i wash up my skin.they r smellly i don't like them
#163 - samaneh - 10/05/2010 - 13:47
Well I put more butter (shea/cocoa/coconut) then the oils. I found out recently that is better to make the mix more like a cream than to oily, is less sticky this way. The oils that I put in higher percentage are olive oil and sweet almond oil, the rest add just few drops (3-4). The levender oil and rosemery oil have a strong smell. The cream you have to put everything in a small pan on the stove at small flame untill all the mix melts. Than you put it into the fridge/refrigerator in a plastic storage/ contenitor. I prepared it in both ways oily and creamy. I use it 2 a day and the mix must be applied after a shower. Indeed improves the appearence of the stretch marks. The big/deeper one's are faded and the small are gone, but I have a lot of months of useing this. Don't forget about the loofah sponge and the african black soap.
#164 - misscherie - 10/06/2010 - 11:54
I'm sorry that you don't like it...I don't know what to say...Just try something else or try only with the shea butter, olive oil, sweet almond oil and vitamin E.
#165 - misscherie - 10/06/2010 - 12:01

Hope it helps!

Hiya,
I'm 23 years old nearly 24 had stretch marks for years and prob spent the same amount on buying a house on so many different stretch marks products and its driving me nuts. I have found Palmers cream and Scar serum from boots mixed together to be very good and my stretch marks seems to be fading. I am also going to mix wisky, Aplha Hydroxic Acid, Egg yoke, line and lavander oil and anything else i can find that i no that can get rid of stetch marks. Not sure about demo roller cz it gave me a rash. If you got sensitive skin be very careful wot you use. Exfoiliating your skin everyday helps. Also I notice changing your diet by eating healthy helps and do some toning exercises to tone the skin everyday. Try eating broccoli and yogurts and loads of water to hydrate the skin. I am going to try some more things and i am not going to give up till a get the complete solutions to total GET RID OF THEM! xxx

Can i use lime juice instead of lemon?
#172 - sjdsdsjsd - 11/11/2010 - 22:37
I simply applied honey with some squeeze of lemon (Kalamansi fresh) it really works for me in just 2 weeks visibly changes with stretchmarks on my both legs. Now every night after shower I'm applying now Olive oil every night but need to massage it for a minutes then I can go to bed when the greasy is less. I am thankful its now less visible and just fine lines needs to reconstruct by using remedies at home i preferred.
#173 - Rizza - 11/12/2010 - 00:36
Ive been using aloe vera gel & it really works!
#174 - Miranda - 11/15/2010 - 01:07
Hy ''Rizza'' I want to give you a tip for the greasy, to eliminate it or at least make it less and I mean to try and see the difference by applying the olive oil (or every other oil or mix of oils) after shower on the wet skin, massage it for few minutes and then dry or wip your skin with a towel. You know like the jhonson oil applying it on the wet skin, is the same thing doing that with the natural oils is less greasy.

can anyone help? im 15 years old. i first niticed my stretch marks when i was 13. they started on my breasts and i didnt mind cause it's quite common and some of my friends had the same problem but now i have them on my butt, thighs inner and outer, and on the backs on my knees. it's so horrible, when i wear my school skirt you can see them on my legs. i try not to worry to much but i cant waer clothes like i would like to and i always wear tights if i have something short on :( i've tried bio oil it might have worked a little but now im trying lemon juice and olive oil. it's hard to tell what works cause in some lights they look white and in others they look red or purple again. i want to tan for the summer, just a little, and hopefully that might help take the colour out as well but one thing that did work was tanning moistureiser, you have to use it daily but it covers them and makes them less visable :) anyway anyone know any other tips? i want to wear a bikini this summer. good luck. reading these stories had made me a little more hopeull. i just want them to go white. x

I heard some where i think i was on the dr oz show that if you mix coffee, sugar and olive oil and massage that over the area or your whole body it will make them not as noticeable. Well i had really really bad stretch marks after i had my daughter and it really seems to work good. plus it will help with celulite. just make sure you do it before you take a shower cause it will get really messy and you will want to wash off afterwards.
#181 - Jen - 12/07/2010 - 10:20

i'm 20 and since i have my period i have strech marks recently i have started a diet and lost a lot of weight and i have been excersising... i still have my strechmarks the same way as always i realy hope this remedies work... bec. i dont have the money for the laser treatment and btw it's kind of scary bec they dont asure the results... so it might go wrong.... wish u all luck w. this... i read that the best creams you can use are those that remove the layers of the skin... that removes the marks almost compleatly and they are un recognizable... so i'm gona buy some strech mark cream w. hydro something acid.... i'll tell yalll if it work...

I am 15 years old and i got my stretch marks when i was 13. I have them on my shoulders, breast, stomach, and behind my knees. First of all, i ask my sisters if there's a cream for stretch marks and they said that this would stay forever. BUT I DIDNT BELIEVE THEM. I'm too smart to believe them. I did alot of research about stretch marks cream and i found "african american pure shea butter" works so well. So i have a teacher and i ask her about the shea butter and the next day she went to my house and drop the shea butter. She gave me two bottel. One is pure white shea butter and the other one is shea butter with vitamin E, Aloe vera and other ing & believe it or not my white stretch marks are less noticesable. Before they are deep brown but not they're getting white. I am so thankful. So right now Im using Shea butter with vitamin E, aloe vera, etc! & plus LEMON!!!!! Rub it on ur stretch marks it helps. and i did a research about Vicks Vapor Rub and it works too. I havent try them but i will deff will.

#189 - Jons Wife 2009 - 02/03/2011 - 13:18
I started getting stretch marks last year, because i put on some weight, but they're all on my thighs, i've tried cocoa butter, egg whites, and baby oil, non of which worked, i also went swimming last night and had to get out because i felt like everyone was looking at them, usually little things like this wont bother me, because i don't really care what people have to say about me, but because i'm going away in april with school, i'm terrified, i'm going to barcelona so i'll definately be wearing bikinis, shorts etc.. and i'm dreading it! i'm currently trying Lemon juice and praying that it works!!!!

About 6 months ago I tried stretch mark complex from sallys. I saw results the next day! I was so exited because I always thought that nothing at all would really work. They are not completly gone but almost invisable. I'm wearing a bikini for the first time in 7 years. Don't give up. I also started using all kinds of face products that I already had & they also help alot. Mud mask, scrubs, whatever you have!! But deffinatly get the stuff from sallys. Its only like 20$. Soooo worth it. Good luck!!!

Bio oil is a waste of money. I have medium dark (caramel) skin tone and it did not work for me. I've tried basically lots of lotion (maderma, mustela, stri-v (I forgot the spelling,), coco butter, balms coco butter) If you are going to use Aloe vera make it Aloe vera Gel (Whole leaf aloe vera) the brown color kind.. not clear nor any other color.. I started using about 3 weeks ago African Shea butter, grapeseed oil, vit e 45,000 i.u., almond oil and I have seen such a difference in my skin..but of course I use before taking a shower in the bath tub Alba body scrub, I added the same oils except for the Shea butter and massaged for a few mins then exfoliated with an 100% Egytian loofah (the only loofah thats good) I got that for $6 on the net from some lady that sells natural soaps.. then I shower I use castile soap that has tea tree oil (u can use any other natural soap or oil that replenishes your body and doesnt dry it out) after that I pat dry and then use what I said in the beginning and I see a difference on my stretch marks.. 3 days ago I used neem oil (its extremely high in antioxidants) and 2 days ago I started using (its expensive almost $100 trilastin) I see it even better (some of my stretch marks are blending with my color).. today I am adding olive leaf complex (powerful antioxidant) to my mixed lotion.. Listen I have come to the point that when I see myself in the mirror I can't see some of my stretchmarks unless I move side ways..the point is that its doing something!!! I purchased a derma roller yesterday online..I am waiting for it to arrive..I have heard it works wonders specially when using trilastin and A. shea butter along with oils... I cant expect a miracle over night but the results Im seeing its bringing a smile on my face..and I havent done that in a while.. :) ..good luck its worth a try:-D
#198 - CJ - 06/17/2011 - 22:34
Ohh...I meant to say palmers coco lotion...I forgot to mention the neems oil has a strong smell (a little like peanut butter) so, you might want to put a little.. also my stretch mark has become less rough and much more softer to touch (not like vaseline that does this only the same day you put it on)..its not as silvery color as it use to.. another good thing that I would recommend is to tan..I havent done this for weeks but stretchmark looks temporarily more tolerable to ones eyes .. :-)
#199 - CJ - 06/18/2011 - 06:03

#200 - pamela - 06/21/2011 - 07:26
Girl, trust me use what Im using... I can actually see the results...no joke.. I went to buy a lingerie..I can't hardly see it unless I move to the sides...I have to get really close to the mirror to see the stretch marks.. U have to use AFRican Shea butter not any other,... I bought mine in a green market for $5 (can't get that price anywhere else)...and no it doesnt matter whether you are fat, thick, skinny.. If you are prone to get stretch marks.. you're gonna get it no matter what.. I know fat ppl that dont have any stretchmarks at all..

Hello
I am 24 yrs old and I have 2 boys.
My oldest is 3 yrs old and my youngest is 1 yr old.
Before I got pregnant I was very thin weighing 127 or so but with both my kids I gained akmost 45 lbs during my pregnancy. At this time I weight 111 lbs and I am 5'5 I know I am underweight but I can't help it I eat normal and don't excercise. With all this weigth lost I was left with a small saggy pudge and white stretchmarks... I would love to know how to get rid of them since I have no more weight on me this is what bothers me :-(
I've been reading and I am tempted to try everything but any idea what works best???
#203 - Danny's Mommy - 06/28/2011 - 15:35
use bio oil religiously.... massage it after you bath coz the skin will be moist and supple then! dnt loose patience and keep doing this for 20 minutes evry day... two times a day. stretch marks will fade but of cos they will not completely disappear... for faster results, try water proof conceler if you wnt to go swimming or to the beach... works all the time... you will be the only person who knws u have strech marks!!
#204 - April - 08/16/2011 - 08:22
I would just love if someone would post about something they have tried for 6 months, 8 months or a year. There are no over night solutions, or something that works in 2-3 days or a week. The skin cycle is 28 days. So there is no way one can get improvement overnight.

Hi ladies , when i was 11 i got stretchmarks all over my legs and hips - i was very aware of them and felt horrible. After doing alot of research, i got palmers cocoa butter for stretch marks- i used it for about six months and my dark brown stretch marks have all faded away :) and listen, even though people say they last forever, skin dies every 28 days so even though you cant see it, its gradually fading away :D
#207 - Tash - 11/12/2011 - 16:54
Well I've had stretch marks since i was 11 years old. I'm skinny, I've always been skinny. They're mostly on my butt. I hate them. So one year ago i decided to take some action. So I exfoliated regularly, and i use cocoa butter after shower everyday. I tried shea butter too. Honestly they have faded to a great extent. My skin is smooth but they are not completely gone. I am trying lemon to get rid of dead skins and moisturising with cocoa butter. it can be very depressing but NEVER EVER lose hope. just be patient and stick to natural remedies it will sure work :) I have very satisfying results. Never give up girls!

my daughter is nearly 10 weeks old,i was young when i had her so my body has changed alot since.i started having strechmarks when i was 39 weeks pregnant (right near the end i was gutted) after i had her i started searching for ways to get rid of strechmarks becouse i heard that you have got a better chance in removing them when they are red/purple than you have if they were white/silver.i saw this video called tonyatko and tried it.i ordered pure african shea butter off ebay £2 and olive oil £2 and a pot to mix it! i have been using shea butter and olive oil now for a month and wow! it is working! they are changing colour slowly, you have to use this potion for 6months for results,i have taken before and after pics and when i have reached 6 months i will be posting them on tonyatko's website,i hope this has helped becouse it certainly has helped me :) good luck

Ok so I am 14 and turning 15 in June and I started getting stretch marks about a year ago. And I am a normal weight. I see all the possible options and it really confuses me because I dont know what would be the best for me. I got the stretch marks on my chest really bad and on my upper thighs and faintly on my upper calves. I kinda want to have the marks lighter or gone if possible by summer but I dont know whta to try. I live in Alaska and up here everything costs about twice and three times as much as down in the lower 48. So I dont want to buy a really expensive oil and then not have it work... please help!!
#212 - Marie - 02/07/2012 - 00:55
I started getting stretch marks when i was 13, and probably haven't gotten any new ones since at least 18. I am now 22 and have noticed that the have started to fade . I also have dry skin, so i moisturize daily. Also losing weight if its a possibilit can help a lot because it lets the skin bounce back a little bit. However I'm still pretty muscular even when I am my most in shape, and so thats not very idealistic for me personally. Bag Balm is one of the best moisturizers i have found for them
#213 - Ari - 03/19/2012 - 00:34
Girls, don't stress out about that, any man can have them. If a man refuses u bcos of stretch marks, then he deffinitelly is not worth it... My husband thinks I'm unique with them. I have a 5 years girl and 3 years old boy. I'm 23 now. Had stretch marks since I was 12 (my breast and behind my knees) back then didn't bother me much bcos the rest of my body was just fine untill I had my first baby. I got huge and my body exploded in marks. Now I have them in my stomach, hips, thighs, side of my legs, arms and got much more behind my knees and breast... The purple color faded away in their own but the marks not at all. They are very deep and wide. Didn't do anything about them bcos I always heard that they are permanent and nothing can make them dessapear. Anyway I started doing research and came to home remedies site and I started my own treatment 3 weeks ago. I exfoliate my skin with coffe grain, extra [@] olive oil, aloe Vera gel, baking soda (optional) sugar and honey. U can add any collagen lotion if u want. After exfoliating I use loofah sponge too while I rinse off with watter. I'm pretty hard with exfoliation though,my skin gets really pink. Then I use my own mixture of aloe vera gel 100% (from walmart) Shea and cocoa butter lotion, I like the one DOVE for extra dry skin, olive oil,8 capsuls of vitamin E, 8 vitamin A&D, limune juice, 2 white egg (has lots of protein)... Apply in mornin and night. A week ago I started adding vitamin E oil and EMU oil. This will sound crazy but I use 9 Collagen & C tablets, (it is a bottle it says collagen & C 1&3). I smash it into powder and add into the all above lotion, and since I started this I have seen huge changes in my stretch marks... I also take vit E, Vit A&D and collagen tablets every day for the heck of it. Lots of water ladies, I force myself even if I'm not thirsty. I have a full time job so I can't apply lotion very often but I try to apply this mixture every morning before work, for my lunch I use a 100% cocoa butter stick. At evening exfoliate and same mixture after shower again. The ones on my thighs are pretty much gone, I can only see them if I look for them.. My stomach it's getting much better, I can see they are reducing in size already. They have my skin color now.. My whole left side body is better, not sure why, maybe bcos of blood circulation due to exfoliation towards my heart.... The deep ones hasn't changed much, I guess it takes more time since it's only been 3 weeks. Just ordered a derma roller today bcos it helps the lotion and oil to reach deeper into the layers of skin. Will see if it helps. But deffenitely ladies, use the collagen &C tablets, and emu oil, u will be pleased.. All the ingredients I got from walmart besides the emu oil, that I got it from vitamin store. I heard Vit K lotion is good, haven't used it yet but I'm planning on. Anyways, sorry for keeping it long but I'm just trying to help all of you in need. Good luck to all... I will keep you posted again...

I'm 18 years old and i have stretch marks on my upper thighs and butt, I started seeing stretch marks on my skin since i was 10. I started losing weight around that time and then i grew into my figure. I'm slim but i have a big but and wide hips and as they grow my stretch marks get darker. I've tried alot of products and natural remedies some really work and others really dont. Things that really help me are raw cocoa fat; drinking cod liver oil, as well as applying it directly to the skin; olive oil and drinking lots of water and home made fruit juices

I'm 14 and have stretch marks on my inner thighs, they're deep and reddish purple. I hated wearing shorts until I found out 99% of my friends had them somewhere on their body. I have them ALL over my butt too which is really embarrassing especially since im getting too that age where its all about guys. But you don't have to worry about that because (I found out) guys don't care!! :) These marks make you who you are and its good that this is happening because it means you're growing, just expholiate and they will go away in time. Bye lovely's!!

I have some old stretch marks on my bum from a pregnancy ten years ago. I used dermelastic stretch mark serum for a week, and was delighted that this seemed to be evening them out! It really does seem to work. However, it also totally broke out my skin. Horrors!! I chose old, pale stretchmarks over red dots on my bum. Highly recommend if your stretch marks are on an area that does not have sensitive skin. Otherwise, just try cocoa butter.
